We provide just about everything you need like a Hotel from beach towels to shampoo and conditioner. Our staff, Rolando and his wife Sandra live with their 3 daughters on the property in our gatehouse and are there to cater to your needs.
We traveled all of the Caribbean & parts of Central America & South America on business always enjoying the wonderful people and sites. However, we never felt the affection of the people and natural beauty we found in Quepos/Manuel Antonio. When you say Thank you the locals respond 'Con mucho gusto', with great pleasure, and mean it!
When you come to Casa Wow you enter a SAFE HAVEN with PRIVACY and we provide 24/7 on site PERSONAL attention. It was late Friday when our guests called Raul, our Concierge. They had lost their US passports for their Monday PM flight home. What to do? Quickly Raul made contact with the US embassy in San Jose. He arranged for an experienced driver to meet them early in San Jose & take them to the Embassy & then back to catch their 4:00 PM flight Home. We cover all the bases. Congratulations to Raul who was mentioned in the 2015 edition of Trip Advisor for his outstanding service to our guests. We have been friends for nearly 20 years,
We built our home on top of a wind swept hill facing the Pacific a 1/2 mile to the West & the rain forest covered San Marco Mountains to the East 5 miles away. The View to us as Successful realtors in Miami is what was paramount along with comfort. Yet we wanted to be able to have contact with the people and a safe convenient place to escape the hustle and bustle. Swing all day & night or swing in a hammock poolside!
Our grandchildren love it here and always want to return for the activities. The spa is perfect for toddlers. We even have a lovely crib.
Aside from a professional English speaking Concierge, Raul Miranda, we have a live on site caretaker, Rolando, and his family living full time in a small Casita on the property which is walled and gated. Many remote properties do not offer the security and service to which we are accustom.
The pool is very private for sunbathing with the jacuzzi and chaise lounges and pool side bath house with changing room.
Casa Wow better than ever as in February of 2016 we added our Mountain View Garden with wonderful vistas of the rainforest to the East and the San Marcos Mts. now extinct volcanoes running as far as the eye can see! A wonderful place to catch the cool mountain breeze and watch our flocks of parrots fly to the mountains only to return to our valley at sunset.
Our congratulations to the Costa Rican government for their road and signage improvements from San Jose to the Coastal cities including Quepos/Manuel Antonio(we share same local government). Now I can recommend a reasonably pleasant personal drive from San Jose. Also cell phone service has become first class but a real cost! The multitude of cell towers due to our terrain is an eye sore.
Bagels in Quepos! Yes, in 2016 Brooklyn landed a nice young couple of bakers who opened a shop next to the Gran Escape Restaurant off Main St where they have bagels, breads and donuts. They also serve food, nice sandwiches.
Marina Pez Vela, well cannot say enough about the bank owned rapidly growing Marina except Wow. Unlimited FUNDS! Now can boast of having 4 of the best restaurants in the area. Soon they are to build a Marriot Hotel as they finish the condos.
Keywords: Pacific Ocean Sunsets and Mountain Sunrises make this wind swept home truly a unique carefree tropical paradise!
Peace and quiet, 5 miles to world famous Manuel Antonio Beach & Park, #1 visited National Park. Sport fishing capital of North America. Great family fun for all ages. Concierge Raul Miranda can arrange all transportation & tours.

Casa Wow was fantastic. The home is lovely. The views are fabulous and the pool was so helpful with children. It allowed the adults the opportunity to relax after a fun-filled day of exploring the beaches, jungles, waterfalls, and towns. The house was conveniently located and a wonderful place to stay in between adventures. Raul and Rolando were very helpful and pleasant.
A couple of emails is all it takes too schedule your dream vacation in CR. Raul the concierge handles all ground transportation (super comfortable van with wi-fi and stops along the way), jungle adventures and fishing. I do recommend Frenzy for offshore fishing however. Book thru their website on your own. Casa Wow is top notch. Beautiful views and very comfortable place to stay with fast wi-fi. The only downside is it is a long walk to the marina and downtown. Raul typically handles most of those trips and cabs are plentiful and cheap otherwise. I will definitely be back.
From the moment we arrived in Quepos..4 hours later than expected the exceptional service and help we received would never be expected from a resort. Raul is the most amazing concierge...the amazing amazing fishing trips we experienced will never be forgotten....his help and his suggestions were so welcome!!
Rolando(the onesite caretaker) and his family are there for you every day...we were not expecting a full clean of the house not once but twice while we were there. Watch out for the little one Nancy...she may just melt your heart and she likes snacks and 7UP!!! The house is amazing and so are the views!! We spent a lot of time there in the backyard enjoying the sun, heat and the parrots each day!!! Tom and Sandy have truly made a romantic or family home...whichever you prefer you will get with this home!
We have just sent out our confirmation for next year!! Costa Rica and their people are above none!! From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we were never disappointed.
A small note...do NOT rent a car from the airport...have Raul arrange your transportation from the airport to Quepos and then he will take exceptional care of your rental needs the next day!!
Ask Raul for Tony, Jimmy and Luis for a fabulous day of fishing!! We had 3 of the most amazing days with them!!
Fantastic house and comfortable in every way. We loved eating at the little table by the pool and had good adventures in the area. Rainmakers was a highlight - highly recommended and plan to get wet stomping through waterfalls and, likely, enjoy being rained on even if it is beautiful and sunny just 5-10 miles away. Manuel Antonio was...just OK. I think if you go and walk through it will be a let down, but if you get a great guide it can make for an interesting ~4 hour experience. We stayed away from the crowds on the private beach in Manuel Antonio and our boys played in the waves for hours while the monkeys tried to sneak up and steal our food - that was our real highlight from the park. The pool was fun every day when we got back and buying some fish in town to grill out (snook!) was fantastic. You'll want to have a car, the house is a bit out of Go for it - you won't be disappointed!
Private, peaceful, beautiful place to stay. Very large house with great views. The house has everything you need. Great and spacious kitchen that I so much enjoyed preparing meals for us. The BBQ outside was a great plus , we used it many times. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoons when it was really hot. The best part of the house is the views and the privacy. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The roosters and the chickens around the property were such a nice addition to our morning views. Very relaxing environment. The caretaker Rolando and his beautiful family were there for everything we needed. Very kind and lovely family. We will miss them for sure. Raul was a great help in arranging the day trips and providing transportation. Everyone was very kind to us and we appreciate all their help.
The home is aptly named. The entire family upon entering this beautiful home just said"WOW".Beautiful sunset views , extremely quiet, comfortable beds , large baths.
We all like to cook and found the kitchen well equipped . We even grilled our fresh Mahi Mahi from our fishing trip on the outdoor grill.
Our caretaker , Rolando, made us feel safe and immediately took care of any of our concerns.
The pool is a real plus and we enjoyed relaxing there every evening.
If there is a downside to this home it is that it is so comfortable that you do not want to go out.
But do- Quepos and Manuel Antonio are interesting places and the scenery is breathtaking. We especially enjoyed our hike at RAINMAKER- a private trail through the rain forest.
Raul helped us plan all of our fishing and sightseeing plus our airport transportation and we were never disappointed.
When we pulled up to Casa Wow, all 6 of us including our hired driver said "Wow". The house is absolutely amazing and features views of the mountains and the ocean. Raul and Rolando were there to greet us when we arrived and provided a tour of the house. In fact, Raul learned we were stopping by the grocery store on the way in and met us there. The fridge was stocked with eggs for breakfast and Raul provided fresh mahi mahi he had caught that day. The pantry was stocked with spices and the kitchen was well equipped (including a dishwasher) and had plenty of cookware. The house was large and the 3 bedrooms were not adjoining which provided plenty of space for all of us all to spread out. There were also plenty of common areas both indoors and outdoors so we could congregate. The pool was wonderful and kept meticulously clean. The washer and dryer was extremely helpful as we had accumulated lots of dirty clothes during our week+ time in Costa Rica prior to our stay at Casa Wow. Our travel plans changed and we were fortunate to be able to extend our stay. We never wanted to leave. We did not have a rental car and found getting around the Quepos and Manual Antonio area to be very easy via taxis.
We loved our getaway to Casa Wow in Costa Rica. The property is lovely, the house fantastic and the area exceptional. We found the house to be very clean, and well stocked from soap, shampoo, hair dryers to coffee. The kitchen was well equipped as well with lots of dishes, pots, pans and frying pans. The verandas allowed you to see both the Pacific and the mountains. Just beautiful! The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Each had it's own connecting bath with plenty of hot water!!!!! The pool also overlooked the Pacific . Quepos has great fishing, wonderful restaurants, monkeys, flowers, super beaches, rain forests, rip lines and all within close distance to Casa Wow. The people were very friendly. Enjoy your visit - you will create beautiful memories - we did!
Beautiful Home with the best amenities and awesome views of the Pacific ocean and mountains. We relaxed at times in the pool while grilling outdoors viewing many species of birds and even a monkey.
Everything we needed was there including made service and a property manager on call 24hrs.Everyone was courteous and professional and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent among other million dollar homes and only a couple of minutes from the marinas and great restaurants. The fishing was outstanding some of the best in the world with fishing grounds only a few miles offshore.Lost count of howmany sailfish we raised and released landed many dodos and even a 400lb Black Marlin. We're definitely returning to Casawow and its friendly team.
I would like to thank Tom and Sandy for sharing their home with us. It was everything it was advertised to be. We really enjoy our stay and found the house very relaxing.
We did not rent a car, but all the tours picked us up and dropped us off at the house. Taxi to or from Quepos was $3 each way. Taxi all the way to Manuel Antonio was only $10; so a car was not needed.
The property manager Raul helped line up the perfect trip. He lined up the tours and driver between San Jose and Quepos. His assistance made the trip easy and enjoyable. He and the care taker, Rolando, are available to see to any needs.
There is so much to do in the Quepos area. The zipline was wonderful; I never expected to see my 80 year old mother on a zipline! The para sailing with Miguel and Melony was super. The "vacation buggy" was the only way my parents were going to get to the top of the rainforest. The guides in the Mangrove and Manuel Antonio were wonderful. And the beaches are beautiful with warm tropical ocean water.
The crew on the deep sea fishing boat was fabulous both days. They worked hard and did a great job. Catching sailfish was one of the primary reasons for coming to Costa Rica and the crew produced results. Seeing the pods of dolphins was the hightlight of my wife's trip.
We wish we could have stayed longer and spent more time at the beach, inshore fishing and just relaxing at Casa Wow.
This property is magnificent; we have had the pleasure to stay there on two occasions; back in 2/11 and just this past May 2013. The accomodations are very nice and the views of the Mountains and the Pacific Sunset are spectacular! They truly have a WOW factor!!!!! We love the general area where the property is situated, great restaurants reasonably priced, with a wonderful beach area in Manuel Antonio. For us, the world class Pelagic acton is the highlight, with all the different vaierties of Marlins to try your hand at. We have been fortunate to land the Classic Blue and Stripped Marlins off these waters and not to mention the large sized Pacific Sail fish. If you are planning a fanatastic Costa Rican experience CASA WOW will offer you just that!
My husband and I stayed at Casa Wow in February, 2011 and had such a wonderful time. that we returned in April. 2012. The house is just as depicted on the web, only better. The kitchen and laundry facilities are excellent and the house has air conditioning when needed.. On hot days, there is always a breeze at the Gazebo by the swimming pool.
It is only 5 minutes into Quepos business area and close to Emanual Antonio State Park and beaches. If you stay long enough, you can drive to the Aranal Volcano and Hot Springs (about a 2 hour drive) or arrange with Raul for a car to take you there. There is Zip Linining, Rain Forests, etc. nearby. Raul, the house manager will help you with your sightseeing plans and can also arrange for deep sea fishing excursions.
Again, I have to repeat myself on the comfort of the house. It creates a magnificent vacation in Luxury.
This home was perfect for us! It provided the right mix of privacy and access to nearby amenities. If you are traveling to the Manuel Antonio area, I'd highly recommend staying here!
